Robert Kalde

Rob has extensive experience in all aspects of commercial litigation. Recent focus has been on all facets of Building and Construction litigation. He acted for the Respondent in the recent Court of Appeal matter of Holmwood Holdings Pty Ltd ats Halkat Electrical Contractors Pty Ltd, an influential decision in the interpretation of the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act (1999) as amended.

Litigation is handled in most jurisdictions for building companies, insurers, developers, councils and private clients.

Paul Quinn
PARTNER

Paul practices in commercial, building, construction, personal injuries litigation as well as in property law. He has an extensive practice which includes providing advice and service to businesses and private clients in Canberra, Wollongong, Sydney and Melbourne as well as in the Southern Highlands.

Recent successful results include the decision of ICA Group Pty Ltd & Anor v M.K River Pty Ltd & Anor (2007) NSWSC145, Court of Criminal Appeal matter R v Tory (2006) NSWCCA18 and Court of Appeal matter Chaina v Alvaro Homes Pty Ltd [2008] NSWCA 353.

Paul has recently gained experience working closely with Michael Inglis, Tax Barrister in relation to an ATO Project Wickenby matter

Simone Quinn
SOLICITOR

Simone is a qualified Solicitor with a strong background in advising on Local and Government Planning Law and practice in general property law. Simone worked in both public and private practice prior to becoming a foundation member of KQ Lawyers.

Danielle Skinner
LAWYER

Danielle is employed as a Lawyer. Danielle has recently graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Law from the University of Western Sydney and works directly under the Partners in all areas and more particularly Commercial Litigation, Taxation Law and Construction and Building Law. Presently Danielle has been assisting Paul Quinn in an Australian Taxation Office Project Wickenby matter. Prior to joining the firm Danielle worked as a Paralegal in the Commercial Litigation section at a Top-Tier firm in Sydney.

Sharon Levy
SOLICITOR

Sharon is experienced in environmental planning law as well as a number of areas of commercial litigation, with particular emphasis on building and construction law.

Sharon is a senior solicitor who is familiar with running litigation in most Courts and Tribunals, including the Court of Appeal and Supreme Court.

She has acted for a range of clients, including local government authorities, corporations and individuals.

Kelli Ennever
PARALEGAL

Kelli is employed in the role of paralegal and brings seven years experience in the legal industry to the firm. Kelli is studying law through the Legal Practitioner's Admission Board.

Kelli assists Paul Quinn in his practice and most recently played an instrumental role in the complex and successful outcome of Levy v Trustees of the Christian Brothers WCC 15485-2006.

Kerrie-Lee Larnach
RECEPTIONIST

Kerrie-Lee is employed as a receptionist. Kerrie-Lee is currently completing a Bachelor of Legal and Justice Studies by correspondence through Southern Cross University. Kerrie-Lee has been a member of the firm since November 2004, progressing from the position of Receptionist. Within that time Kerrie-Lee has completed numerous courses through the Law Society and Continuing Legal Education (UNSW) to enhance her existing skills and acquire new skills.

Karisa Wills
LEGAL SECRETARY

Karisa is employed as our legal secretary. Karisa completed her Higher School Certificate in 2005 and prior to joining us at KQ Lawyers, worked in retail and as an office assistant. Karisa looks forward to expanding her knowledge of the way in which the law operates and developing her skills in this area.
